Held at the Shenandoah University, by Scotland's National Piping Centre.
The band can receive a group rate depending on the number of people going form our band, so please let us know you are going by responding to this invite so your name can be added for the special rate.
The daily program will cover all aspects of performance including practice routines, technique, musical expression, tuning and ensemble playing.
Students will be taught in a small group of similar ability for 3-4 hours per day. The remaining time should be used for productive practice. Students are encouraged to bring recording equipment to classes.
In addition a variety of workshops, Instructor recitals will also be offered throughout the week as well as the opportunity for piping students to sit Piping and Drumming Qualifications Board examinations.
Timetables, student information and music packs will be issued at Monday morning assembly.
