Bagpiper for a Funeral, Wedding, Formal Ceremony & Private Bagpipe Lessons
I started playing the Great Highland Bagpipe in 1990, and began playing as a second profession four years later. I currently serve as the Pipe Major for the Grade V competition division of the Greater Richmond Pipes and Drums. I compete in both solo and band competitions throughout the Northeast Region of the United States.
I have been honored to play at the Virginia State Capitol building and a rededication of Second Presbyterian Church in Richmond, VA, both attended by Governor Mark Warner. I also played for the retirement dinner held for Senator John Warner.
I have played for numerous weddings at locations across the state, including The Chapel at The University of VA. I have also played for the wedding of UVA's President Casteen. In addition to formal ceremonies, I frequently play at area golf courses during tournaments.
